The Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has offered heartfelt Easter wishes to Christians throughout the state, across Nigeria, and globally.
In a message conveyed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori highlighted Easter as a meaningful period for introspection, rejuvenation, and hope.
He encouraged Christians to embody the principles of love, sacrifice, and unity that Jesus Christ personified.
The Governor urged the faithful to take this time to pray for the unity, peace, security, and ongoing advancement of both Delta State and the nation as a whole.
He recognized the determination of Nigerians in the face of socio-economic difficulties, expressing confidence in their ability to overcome challenges through faith and cooperative efforts.
“On behalf of my family, the government, and the citizens of Delta State, I extend my congratulations to Christians around the world as we observe Easter 2025,” the Governor stated.
“As we commemorate the resurrection of Christ, let us renew our dedication to fostering a more equitable, united, and prosperous society,” he added.
He also reiterated his administration’s commitment to providing effective governance, enhancing social welfare, and creating opportunities for all residents of Delta State.
