Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has conveyed heartfelt congratulations to Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, the immediate past Deputy Governor, in celebration of his 57th birthday on April 16.
In a statement released in Asaba on Wednesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori acknowledged Otuaro’s dedicated service and significant contributions to the success of initiatives such as the ‘Smart Agenda’ and ‘Stronger Delta’ during his tenure in the previous administration.
The Governor highlighted Otuaro’s impactful efforts in fostering peace and stability within the Niger Delta region, particularly through his leadership of the Peace Advocacy Committee Against Oil Facility Vandalism. This initiative played a crucial role in enhancing oil production in Delta State and across the nation.
“In recognition of your invaluable contributions, you were honored with the Niger Delta Peace Ambassador Award in 2019 by Daily Independent Newspapers Limited,” Governor Oborevwori remarked.
“On behalf of my family, the state government, and the people of Delta State, I extend my warmest congratulations to you, my dear brother Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, as you celebrate your 57th birthday.
“Your unwavering commitment to our party and community has made a lasting impact on the advancement of Delta State.
“With your continued engagement and the support of fellow Deltans, we will strive to build the Delta of our dreams—one founded on peace, security, and sustainable progress.
“I pray that God blesses you with robust health and grants you many more years of meaningful service to humanity and devotion to the Almighty,” the Governor concluded.
