His Royal Majesty, Matthew Ediri Egbi, Owahwa II, the Okobaro of Ughievwen Kingdom, has been honored with the prestigious title of Fellow of the National Certificate and Award of Excellence in Peace Building and Community Development by the Delta State College of Education, Mosogar.
The award was conferred on the monarch during the college’s second convocation ceremony, which took place at the school’s premises in Mosogar, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State.
In his introduction of the monarch, the Registrar, Mr. Foley highlighted His Royal Majesty’s exemplary contributions to peacebuilding and community development in Ughievwen Kingdom and beyond.
He emphasized the monarch’s unwavering commitment to fostering unity and development in Ughievwen Kingdom.
In response to the honor, His Royal Majesty expressed his heartfelt gratitude, stating that the award is not just a personal achievement but a recognition of the collective efforts of the entire Ughievwen Kingdom.
He reiterated his dedication to continuing the work of promoting peace and development in Ughievwen and called on the people to remain united in their pursuit of progress.
