A prominent group known as the Delta Political Forum (DPF) has expressed its appreciation for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s commitment to infrastructure development throughout Delta State.

The organization made its comments following a comprehensive tour of key projects, including the bridges at PTI Junction and the DSC Roundabout, which took place on Thursday, February 27, 2025, after the group’s monthly meeting at the PTI Conference Centre.

During the inspection of these pivotal structures, Olorogun Solomon Obareki, the coordinator of DPF, praised the governor for addressing criticism through tangible development initiatives.

“Governor Oborevwori has shown that he is genuinely committed to enhancing the quality of infrastructure in our state.

“The improvements at PTI Junction and DSC Roundabout are just a testament to his vision,” Obareki stated enthusiastically.

The DPF emphasized that the governor’s efforts have not only addressed concerns regarding the state’s infrastructure but have also fostered greater connectivity and safety for residents.

The group observed that the ongoing bridges project and road rehabilitation if completed will play a crucial role in easing traffic congestion and facilitating smoother transportation routes across the state.

In addition to the tour of the bridges, the forum highlighted various other infrastructure projects initiated by the governor, including road rehabilitation, drainage systems, market projects, skill acquisition and others aimed at promoting both socio-economic development and environmental sustainability.

“These projects are vital for the growth of our economy and improving the living standards of our citizens,” Obareki further noted.
