The President General of Ughievwen Union, Olorogun Akporuru Patrick Wheleke, has commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the approval of Obi-Ayagha Secondary School.

The school, which is located along the Obi-Ayagha-Imode Road, came to prominence in 2016 during the first term of Hon. Rev’d Francis Ejiroghene Waive, who represents the Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency.

Since its inception, Waive has endeavored to support the school through various initiatives, donating generously towards the regular payment of teachers’ salaries and the construction of all classroom blocks. He prayed that the good Lord would bless him.

Over the weekend, during a courtesy visit by some members of the Obi-Ayagha community to the President General of the Ughievwen Union at his Otu-Jeremi residence, President General Olorogun Wheleke expressed gratitude not only to Governor Oborevwori but also to Rt. Hon. Rev’d Waive for making the Obi-Ayagha dream come to fruition.

He urged community members to reject violence and avoid vandalizing government properties, emphasizing the importance of supporting the MORE Agenda initiatives of the Governor.

He acknowledged the Obi-Ayagha Elite Forum for their role in establishing the school concept decades ago.

While emphasizing the significance of unity and collaboration within the community to foster continued growth and development in Ughievwen at large, Wheleke enjoined the Obi-Ayagha people to be good ambassadors of Ughievwen to the world.
