The Delta Political Forum has congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for being awarded the title of ‘Governor of the Year, 2024’ by ThisDay Newspaper and Arise Television for his exemplary fiscal discipline and significant contributions to the infrastructural development of Delta State.
In a statement issued by the forum and signed by its Chairman, Olorogun Solomon Obareki, the group commended Governor Oborevwori for his dedication to service and commitment to advancing the state’s development agenda.
“We commend Governor Oborevwori for his outstanding leadership, which has led to remarkable fiscal management and transformative projects across Delta State.
“This recognition is not just a testament to his hard work but also an encouragement for continued progress,” the statement read.
The Delta Political Forum explained that the prestigious award will inspire the governor to further enhance the lives of the citizens and foster ongoing growth in the state.
The forum calls on all stakeholders to support the governor’s initiatives and work together for the betterment of Delta State.
