In recognition of his significant development initiatives across critical sectors of governance, the Delta Political Forum (DPF) has passed a vote of confidence in the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
The endorsement was made during DPF’s first meeting of the year, which took place in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
During the meeting, members took the opportunity to assess the progress made under Governor Oborevwori’s administration and discuss future development strategies.
Olorogun Solomon Obareki, the State Chairman of DPF, delivered a speech highlighting the governor’s notable accomplishments in various areas, including infrastructure, security, education, agriculture, health, and the environment.
“The strides made by Governor Oborevwori in these vital sectors are commendable and deserving of recognition,” stated Obareki.
He further emphasized the importance of continued support for the governor to ensure ongoing progress in the state.
Chief Esenwa Uche and Hon. Johnson Oruma, representatives of Oshimili North and Patani Local Government Areas respectively, moved and seconded the vote of confidence motion in the governor.
The duo acknowledged the governor’s achievements and reiterated the group’s commitment to collaborating with the state government to create a more prosperous and sustainable future.
According to them, “The DPF is dedicated to supporting initiatives and policies that drive development and improve the quality of life for the people.
“We believe that by working together, we can achieve even greater outcomes, especially in ensuring that the PDP wins all elections in 2027.”
