Governor Oborevwori Celebrates Leo Ogor on His 66th Birthday

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, warmly congratulated former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Leo Ogor, as he marks his 66th birthday today.

Ogor represented the Isoko Federal Constituency in the National Assembly from 2003 to 2023 and served as Deputy Majority Leader in 2011, followed by his role as Minority Leader from 2015 to 2019.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, the Governor praised the former legislator as a “courageous leader with numerous remarkable achievements.”

Governor Oborevwori emphasized that Hon. Leo Ogor’s significant contributions to Nigeria’s legislative landscape will be long remembered by citizens.

“As a dedicated lawmaker, you have excelled, and your political journey serves as an inspiration for aspiring leaders in Isoko, Delta State, and beyond,” he noted.

The Governor acknowledged Ogor’s invaluable contributions to the growth and development of Delta State, particularly in the Isoko Federal Constituency, where he represented the people with dedication for two decades.

“Your election as Minority Leader in the 8th Assembly, following your tenure as Deputy Majority Leader in the 7th Assembly, highlights your exceptional standing as a formidable voice of the opposition in the House of Representatives.”

On behalf of the government and the people of Delta State, Governor Oborevwori expressed his congratulations, stating, “I join the Isoko community, friends, and admirers across the nation to celebrate you, Hon. Leonard Okuweh Ogor, on this special occasion of your 66th birthday.

“It is our heartfelt prayer that God continues to bless you with good health and many more years filled with inspiring accomplishments.”
