Bishop Harrison Obiogho of the Light of the World Mission Church has urged Nigerians to engage in farming and investment in order to overcome the current hardships in the country.

Obiogho, who made this known during the 2024 end-of-year convention at The Light City, Kilometre 2, Eghwu-Okparabe Road, Eghwu Town, Ughelli South Local Government Area, Delta State, recently stated that 2025 will be a year of “Glory to Glory” for Nigerians.

The bishop indicated that the theme of the convention, “Glory to Glory,” came by revelation after several months of prayer.

According to him, “God said the theme of 2025 is ‘Glory to Glory,'” with the Bible scripture from Numbers 14:21, which reads, “But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.”

“Glory speaks of man’s destiny. The glory of man is what advertises him. Remember in Matthew chapter 2, when Jesus was born, the men from the East saw the glory and the star. Whenever the glory of Jesus is made manifest in a person, there is bound to be advertisement.”

“There is bound to be a spirit of acceptance and acceptability. The impact of this is that the moment you contact the glory, the life of God is found in you in all your activities, and the righteousness of God becomes your watchword. You think about the things of God, about how to build humanity, and not how to destroy lives.”

On the issue of hunger, he admitted that there is hunger in the country and emphasized that they are trying their best to encourage everyone to go into farming.

“They should invest, not just consume everything that comes their way. In our small way, we also try to empower people by providing scholarships to help pay their school fees.”

“We do our best during this time to empower people financially so they can feed themselves. We provide gifts and other forms of support.”

“We also encourage them to do their best, put in all their effort for investment, and engage in farming because the hardships and hunger we are witnessing are mainly due to laziness and the mindset that everything must come from the government.”

“So my prayer for everyone in the coming years is that God will take you far. God shall bless whatever you put your hand to, whether you are a farmer, a businessman, a trader, or involved in any other endeavor. God’s glory will help you achieve your dreams,” he added.
