As the Christmas season casts its warm glow across the nation, Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has conveyed a heartfelt message of hope, harmony, and goodwill to the citizens of the state.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori reflected on the meaningful essence of the season, encouraging everyone to look beyond the festivities.
He extended his heartfelt greetings to all Deltans and Nigerians as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
The governor emphasized that Christmas is an opportunity to promote love, peace, and unity, urging citizens to put aside divisive differences and work together for the collective advancement of the nation.
“Christmas is not merely a time for celebration; it serves as a moment for introspection and renewal,” he noted.
He continued, “This season reminds us of the limitless love and selflessness exemplified by Jesus Christ during his earthly life.”

Governor Oborevwori called upon Christians to use this festive occasion to pray earnestly for a united and peaceful Delta State and Nigeria.

The governor reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to enhancing the welfare of the people throughout the state.
