Delta State’s Commissioner for Youth Development, Barr ThankGod Trakiriowei, recently conducted an inspection of several nearly completed government projects at the Delta State NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Issele-Uku, Aniocha North LGA.
Accompanied by key officials, including Dr. Ngozi Mogbolu, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Ufuoma Obiemenan, the Director of Research, Planning & Statistics, and Mr. Olesegun Alao, the Director of Delta State NYSC, the Commissioner emphasized the importance of this inspection to gain firsthand insights into the current condition of the camp’s facilities.
Barr Trakiriowei expressed his appreciation to the youth-friendly Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, for the various projects being implemented at the camp, which he believes will greatly enhance the comfort of Corps Members assigned to the state.
Among the inspected facilities were a 700-capacity hostel, the NYSC South South Warehouse, and a perimeter fencing for the camp. He assured that future inspections would be conducted regularly to ensure the high-quality execution of ongoing projects.
