Prominent politician and clergy, Evangelist Freeborn Yafogho, has praised the chairman of the Ughelli South Local Government Council, Hon. Dr. Lucky Avweromre, for his efforts in renovating the Primary Health Care Centre and the gatehouse of Baba-Ido Primary School in the Okwagbe Waterside and Okwagbe Inland communities.
In a statement, Yafogho expressed his admiration for the impressive progress made under Hon. Avweromre’s leadership, particularly highlighting the initiatives undertaken within just 100 days of taking office.
He noted that these improvements not only enhance the infrastructure of Okwagbe communities but also contribute significantly to the well-being of its residents.
Yafogho stated, “The renovation of the health centre is a critical step toward ensuring that the people of Okwagbe have access to quality healthcare services.
“A functional health facility is vital for the community’s overall health and well-being, and I commend Hon. Avweromre for prioritizing this essential service.”
He further emphasized the importance of education in fostering a thriving community, adding that the renovations at Baba-Ido Primary School will provide a more conducive learning environment for the children.
“Investing in education is investing in our future. The renewed interest in maintaining our schools reflects a commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders,” Yafogho remarked.
Evangelist Yafogho also called on other political leaders to emulate Hon. Avweromre’s proactive approach, urging them to prioritize infrastructure development in their respective communities.
