Governor Oborevwori Extends Condolences to Pastor Umo Eno Following the Passing of His Wife

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, expressed his heartfelt condolences on Friday to his Akwa Ibom counterpart, Pastor Umo Eno, following the passing of his wife, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno.

Mrs. Eno sadly passed away on Thursday after a brief illness.

In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori conveyed his sympathies to Governor Umo Eno and the people of Akwa Ibom.

He encouraged the grieving family to find comfort in the remarkable life that Mrs. Eno led, highlighting her significant contributions to both faith and community service.

The governor paid tribute to Mrs. Patience Eno, acknowledging her role as a devoted wife, loving mother, and community leader. “We were deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your beloved wife, whose unwavering support significantly impacted your service to both God and the people of the state,” Oborevwori said. “While her time on earth was brief, she dedicated her life to the service of others.”

He described Mrs. Eno as a “strong pillar” for her family and community, emphasizing her qualities as a disciplined parent, nurturing spouse, and committed Christian. “Her absence will be felt deeply by all who were touched by her kindness and generosity,” he added.

“We share in your sorrow during this difficult time and pray that God grants you and your family the strength to endure this loss, as well as peace for the soul of your dearly departed wife,” Oborevwori expressed, embodying the solidarity of the Delta community with his counterpart.

“On behalf of my family and the people of Delta State, I stand with you in mourning the passing of your beloved wife,” he concluded.
