Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has given his approval for the provision of financial assistance to Delta State indigenes studying in the seven Nigeria Law Schools across the country for the year 2022/2023.
This approval comes after the recent approval for bursary awards to over 30,000 students from Delta State studying in tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
The Governor’s approval was announced in a statement released by Dr. Godfrey Enita, the Executive Secretary of the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board, in Asaba on Friday.
“We are pleased to inform the general public, especially the people of Delta State, that His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F. Oborevwori, has generously approved financial assistance for Delta State indigenes in the seven Nigeria Law Schools across the country for the year 2022/2023.
“This approval follows the recent approval for bursary awards to over 30,000 students from Delta State studying in tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
“It is important to note that this significant approval aligns with His Excellency’s MORE agenda, which aims to further the existing human and infrastructural development of the people of Delta State.
“There is no doubt that Governor Oborevwori is not only dedicated to providing quality governance to the people of Delta State, but he has also demonstrated this commitment through his actions by investing in human capital development that directly improves the lives of Deltans.
“Governor Oborevwori is working, and the people of Delta State are pleased,” stated Enita.
