Nigeria Maritime University Okerenkoko Excitedly Welcomes New Governing Council

In a heartfelt message, Prof. Emmanuel Munakurogha Adigio, the Vice-Chancellor of Nigeria Maritime University Okerenkoko, congratulates the recently appointed members of the University’s Governing Council.

The Federal Government has appointed Hon. Temi Harriman, Adeola Adeogun, Benedict Aguele, Freeman Kasa, and Babangida Alhassan to serve on the University’s Governing Council.

Hon. Temi Harriman, a lawyer, politician, and former member of the Federal House of Representatives, has been announced as the Chairman of the Council.

Formally inaugurated on August 29, 2024, Hon. Temi Harriman and her team now officially serve as the University’s Governing Board.

After their inauguration, the newly appointed council members have expressed their commitment to collaborating closely with the University Community to promote unity, peace, and progress.

In response to the inauguration of the new board in Abuja, Prof. Emmanuel Adigio, the Vice-Chancellor of Nigeria Maritime University Okerenkoko, on behalf of the institution’s management, congratulates the members of the University’s Governing Council.

He is optimistic that the Council members’ vast experience and expertise will contribute to the sustainable growth and development of the institution.
