Pastor Kesiena Nomuoja, the outgoing Caretaker Committee Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ughelli North Local Government Area, has expressed that his rise and achievements in office are entirely the result of God’s grace.
In a heartfelt address during his thanksgiving reception at his residence in Agbarho, following a service at the Living Faith Church (LFC) in the same area, he extended his gratitude to former Delta State Governor Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa, his successor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborewori, and other PDP leaders at both state and local levels for their support throughout his tenure.
Pastor Nomuoja emphasized the importance of giving thanks to God, the ultimate source of power.
He noted that true gratitude is demonstrated by using one’s position to uplift others and contribute positively to society.
During the event, Pastor Israel Abiola, the Resident Pastor of LFC Agbarho, encouraged those in leadership to leverage their roles to enhance the lives of others.
He praised Pastor Nomuoja’s decision to publicly acknowledge God after his successful term and prayed for his continued elevation.
In a brief interview, Olorogun Jaro Egbo, Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, commended Pastor Nomuoja as a unifying figure who has strengthened the party’s presence during his two-year leadership as caretaker chairman.
He advocated for a higher position for the outgoing chairman, emphasizing that the state and the party would greatly benefit from his extensive experience.
He characterized him as a humble and dedicated public servant.
In addition, the newly elected Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ughelli North, Mr. Lucky Ofomukoro, praised Pastor Nomuoja as an individual whose humility makes him irreplaceable.
He stated, “Pastor Nomuoja is truly a humble person who always seeks consensus. He values collaboration and never acts unilaterally.
His efforts have been instrumental in unifying the party, and I intend to follow his example, as it is clearly the right path. I wish him success in future endeavors and hope he attains even greater positions.”
Further highlighting his qualities, Charles Nomuoja, Deputy Registrar of Delta State College of Technology and brother of the outgoing PDP chairman, described him as a dedicated and hardworking individual.
He noted that Nomuoja’s commitment to the PDP is beginning to yield significant results.
