Oborevwori Commends Olu of Warri, Atuwatse III, on His 3rd Coronation Anniversary

Delta State Governor, the Right Honourable Sheriff Oborevwori, extends his congratulations to the Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, as he marks the third anniversary of his coronation.

In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, the governor commended the monarch for fostering peaceful co-existence in the Warri Kingdom since assuming the revered throne.

Oborevwori acknowledged the Olu’s significant contributions to the economic progress of the Kingdom over the past three years.

Describing Atuwatse III as “a man of peace, a unifier, and a person of great integrity,” the governor highlighted the positive transformation witnessed in the lives of the subjects and the entire kingdom under his reign.

He urged for continued patience and support from the people to further advance the Iwere nation.

“On behalf of the government and citizens of Delta State, I extend warm congratulations to His Majesty, the Olu of Warri, Atuwatse III, CFR, on the celebration of his 3rd coronation anniversary.

“I stand with the Itsekiri people in celebrating a remarkable king and wish him strength, good health, and wisdom as he fulfills his responsibilities of providing traditional and cultural leadership for his people.

“Throughout his three-year reign, Atuwatse III has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, upholding the law and serving as a source of inspiration to the Itsekiri community and all Nigerians.

“I commend his leadership in preserving and promoting the cultural heritage and traditions of the Iwere people through fostering harmony, socio-cultural cooperation, communal living, and peaceful coexistence among the Itsekiri and other ethnic groups in the state,” stated the governor.
