The founder of Team Tako for Oyibode-Oputu, Comrade Tako Oshoghene Daniel, known as the Mayor of Udu, expressed his confidence that the newly elected chairman of Udu Local Government Area (LGA), Olorogun Vincent Ogheneruemu Oyibode, will replicate the MORE agenda of the Delta State governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori in Udu.
In a statement on Sunday, Tako also congratulated Oyibode on his election and subsequent swearing-in as chairman of Udu Local Government Council.
He emphasized that Oyibode, a grassroots politician, is well-equipped to address the challenges facing Udu LGA due to his strong support from the communities.
Highlighting Oyibode’s extensive campaign efforts in Udu before the LG poll, Tako mentioned that his unopposed victory was well-deserved, citing his promising agenda for the people.
He emphasized Oyibode’s commitment to collaborating with Oborevwori to drive significant socio-economic development in the area.
Tako reassured the residents of Udu LGA that Oyibode possesses the necessary political experience, leadership qualities, and influence to revitalize the area.
He anticipated improvements in infrastructure such as better road networks, consistent power supply, and more for Udu.
Additionally, Tako took the opportunity to congratulate the vice chairman, Hon. (Mrs.) Omojevwe Oputu, the leader of Udu Local Government Council Legislative Arm, Rt. Hon. Henry Apunu, and the other 19 councilors.
He urged them to work harmoniously with Oyibode to usher in a brighter future for Udu.
